Getting Started
Install basePower and required dependencies. Start with steel frames/plates, copper, bioplastic, silicon, solder and circuit parts. Materials and Recipes explains the chain; recipe mode changes some alternatives.
- Craft electric conduit, one generator and a battery array.
- For a hydroelectric generator, leave room for its turbine immediately below and arrange flowing water through that turbine. Static water near the top block is not enough.
- Connect generator, array and a small load with electric conduit. Compatible adjacent machines also conduct.
- Insert an actual battery item into the array. An empty eight-slot array has no useful battery capacity.
- Let it charge with the load disconnected. Then connect a small processing batch and inspect products.

Photovoltaic generation is another option with a clear sky view, but night/weather make it less convenient for proving a first load. Steam generation requires a real steam supply.
Switches conduct without redstone and disconnect when powered. Battery arrays fill behind higher-priority demand, so a working load can keep their charge low.
Count resources, save/reload, then completely close/reopen the game. Check battery items, machine stock and fluid tanks before scaling up.
